Spotify Philippines Emergence

Spotify, one of the world's most popular music apps, reached launched, in collaboration with Globe, their Spotify We Emerge contest to see who will become the next big thing in music across the Philippines and Asia. With world renowed artists like Bastille, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis being some of those who had won in past Spotify Emerge contests in the States.This time Spotify Emerge threw 10 local OPM artists into the spotlight and out perform each one to be the first winner of Spotify Emerge in the Philippines, and be pushed into the mainstream media.With the last 2 remaing OPM finalists were Shehyee and Marion Aunor, both of whom had the chance to be the first Asian and Filipino winner of Spotify Emerge. With the first mentioned having won the award at 12 Monkeys, Century Mall, last July 9,2015. With contests such as this, the talents in the Philippines will be taken notice across Asia and the world.
